Replacing Salesforce Connection

1. Download the packaged workbook and save it on your computer. Open the workbook.

2. On the top of the workbook, select ‘Data’ and from the dropdown select ‘New Data Source’.

3. A new Connect Screen will pop up with a Salesforce log in. Select Salesforce. Please log in with your Salesforce Credentials.

4. After logging in, you will be brought to the data connections pane. Underneath ‘Table’ search for the Objects indicated below for the name of the Tableau Workbooks.

5. Click on a Workbook sheet and the extract process will begin.

6. Under ‘Data’, select ‘Replace Data Source’.

7. You will be prompted to select the current and replacement data source. You will want to select the new dataset that you
created via the connection as the replacement.

8. Once you click ‘OK’, your data will take a second to connect and then the workbook will be ready for use.
