Case in Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud


After you receive a referral, create a case record to track a participant’s relationship with your organization, a program, or a case manager. Think of it as a folder that follows the participant and collects all the information about their engagement.


    1. Find and select Referrals from the Navigation Bar.

    2. Select the appropriate record type and click Next. You can select Wraparound Care - Parent Case for          care plans related to programs or Support Case - One-off support requests unrelated to an active                Care Plan.
         a. Enter the Subject.
         b. Add content to the Description field.
         c. Keep the Status to New.  This will be updated once you start working with the Case.
         d. Create a Contact record.
         e. Create an Account record.
         f. Select the Case Origin, Type, and Priority.
    3. Save the case.
