Create a Referral in Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud
Create a Referral Record
Referrals are requests for services. They come from another organization or an individual seeking assistance. Referrals can arrive through several channels—emails, calls, texts, or web chats—depending on how your organization works. A new referral can also create a person account record for the individual who needs your services.
1. Find and select Referrals from the Navigation Bar.
a. Type in the Referrer Org.
b. Select the Source, emails, calls, texts, etc.
c. Add the Referral Date.
d. Select the Referral Type.
2. Complete the remainder of the form.
3. Click Save
