A Parameter allows you to isolate specific data, e.g., based on a specific picklist value or year.
1. Right click on the desired field.
2. Within the Create option, select Parameter.
3. Name the Parameter.
4. Click ‘OK’ to create.
5. Parameters live on the bottom part of the of the right hand side.
6. To add the parameter to a sheet, make sure that the field is being used currently in the chart.
7. Right click on the parameter and select ‘Show Parameter’.
